Christmas Letter

Dear Nordgren Family,                                             Dec. 24&25, 2010

Here it is Christmas eve and Christmas day.  this also means it is Zoey's birthday.  boy, I miss that cute girl.  I know that you won't receive this until after this Christmas commotion.
First, I want to address all my siblings.  that includes you Dallin.  As I read about our Lord and Savior Jesus christ, I learn what kind of of brother that I need to be.  As I ponder Christ's eternal sacrifice on our behalf, I'm reminded of how perfect he really is.  He inspires me.  He, being our Brother, has done everything for us.  I wish I could be a brother like that.  I will always treasure our good times together.  I pray that you will all come together.  I pray that you will all come closer to Christ through my service to Him.
Now for my beloved parents.  this year during this sacred Christmas time, we have the opportunity to reflect on the life of Christ.  You, both of you, have done the best job raising me and teaching me.  Heavenly Father is so proud of you!  You are both the only parents on the planet in all of eternity that God has called to be my parents.  Thank you.
My dearest family, I love you all, but there is no other place that I would want to be this Christmas except the MTC.  Elder Russell Nelson also sends his love to you.  As he spoke to us on Christmas afternoon, he brought a strong spirit.  Now that I've been here for 2 1/2 months, sadly I've grown a tolerance to the spirit.  I'm already dreading the day when I take the name of Jesus Christ off my shirt.  I love this call, and responsibility.  I love you all so much.  Please be safe, and enjoy your quiet time without me there to disrupt.  ha ha.
With Great Love,
Elder Matthew Nordgren
